Questions people ask before they call.

Short, straight answers. If your notice has a response date coming up, call (877) 874-6190 instead of waiting.

Start online at app.resoly.com or call (877) 874-6190. A specialist reviews your situation, asks about the notice, and explains which options are available. The assessment is a consultation, not a guarantee of relief.

No. Resoly is a private firm. We are not the IRS, the Treasury, or any state tax agency. Anything we submit is sent to the IRS on your behalf, under your written authorization.

Not automatically. Some collection actions pause when a complete request is filed on time, such as a collection due process appeal, or when an agreement is approved. Until then, notices can continue. We will tell you which deadlines are still open.

It depends on the work: unfiled returns, a payment plan, penalty relief, or a more involved offer. Pricing for the assessment and for any work that follows is explained before you commit.

A streamlined payment plan can often be set up within weeks once your filings are current. An offer in compromise or a hardship determination takes longer because the IRS reviews your financials. We give you a realistic window for your specific path.

Missing returns usually need to be filed before the balance can be negotiated. A substitute return prepared by the IRS often overstates what you owe. We start by reconstructing those years from W-2s, 1099s, and the records you still have.

The notice number, the tax years listed, whether you have unfiled returns, and a rough monthly income. If a levy has already started, have a recent pay stub nearby.
